Community Healthcare and Social Services

In its broadest interpretation, health care disparities includes aspects of disease analysis, treatment, drug assistance, access to health care providers and health insurance. During 2005, NBCSI seeks to further refine objectives to address some of the most significant healthcare issues facing African American communities : Sickle Cell, Attention Deficit Disorder, Geriatrics, Prescription Drugs, Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Life Expectancy and Infant Mortality.
